Pn. Seelah is the founder and managing partner of Messrs. Seelah & Goh (SLGOH). After obtaining a Bachelor of Jurisprudence (Hons) degree from the University of Malaya in 2002, she pursued the Certificate of Legal Practice (CLP) and was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in 2004.
Prior founding SLGOH, Pn. Seelah was retained by Messrs. Abd. Halim Ushah & Associates and was assigned to handle general civil litigation matters amongst others debt collection, tenancy disputes, contractual disputes, land acquisition, injunction, bankruptcy proceeding, divorce disputes and probate and letters of administration.
In 2008, Pn. Seelah ventured into real estate where she joined Messrs. Lee & YC Tan and learned a great deal of conveyancing and banking. During her time with Messrs. Lee & YC Tan, she was given the opportunity to handle various conveyancing matters, including sub sale, tenancy, perfection and discharge files as well as taking part in the preparation and launching of several development projects by the developers. She was also involved in assisting the Firm’s Partners to handle general civil litigation matters, Landlord and Tenant disputes and grant of probate and letters of administration.
Pn. Seelah later continues to broaden her expertise area in real estate and banking and introduced to Messrs. Hong & Fong and Messrs. S.K. Koh & Co in the year 2014 and 2015 respectively.
In 2018, she was offered to be a Legal Assistant to lead the Conveyancing and Banking Department in Messrs. Keah & Choo.
Over the years, Pn. Seelah has advised individuals and businesses on real estate transactions, wills and probate matters, and family law concerns.
Ms. Fiona Goh is the founder and managing partner of Messrs. Seelah & Goh (SLGOH). She graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) (Hons) from the University of the West of England, Bristol in 2019, and was called to the Bar of England and Wales as a member of the Honourable Society of Inner Temple in 2021. Thereafter, she chambered in Messrs. Azri, Lee Swee Seng & Co under their Litigation Department, where she was involved in being a translator for clients (English to Mandarin), several winding-up matter, Tort of Conversation matter and Criminal Disputes. She was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in 2022.
Prior setting up SLGOH, she joined Messrs. Ryan Yap & Associates as a Legal Assistant in 2022, where she was involved in a wide range of conveyancing practices, Landlord-tenant Disputes, Will & Estate matters, Family law and contracts.
During her practice, Ms. Fiona has experiences in handling commercial financing matter and dealing with all kinds of commercial loans for various banks in Malaysia. She also had been assigned to attend all kinds of contract agreements such as Tenancy Agreement, Partnership Agreement, Shareholding Agreement, Joint Venture Agreement, Distributorship Agreement and Product Development Agreement with the guidance of Mr. Ryan Yap.
Ms. Fiona’s diversified practices allow her to be well-verse with the different areas of law. This enables her to provide various solutions to the issues put forward by clients.
